Alli Diet Plan

I have been on sort of health kick since the New Year, no more drinking in the week and snacking during the day, blah blah. I have just got to lose weight and get myself under control. 

 I saw an advert on tv yesterday about a diet pill and I guess impulsively, went and bought some online.  Its only today that I go online and find out more about them (via doctors and peoples feed back)

The top three side effects of oily stat are: fecal incontinence, oil spotting, and my all time favorite, flatus with discharge. Any of these side effects can lead to a most unpleasant social situation.


Sounds just dandy, doesn't it?!  

Shopping in the big city

Ventured into the big city for a spot of retail therapy and something nice to eat. I Bought a couple of tops for my all-dayer classes, which is next weekend (gosh, thats come round fast!)
Had lunch in All-Bar-One (it was a change from The Living Room) and it was very nice, I shall be heading back very soon :-)

Snowed in for the weekend?!

The big freeze continues and it looks like I'm not going to be galavanting too far over the weekend.
I would love a pair of funky wellies....the only problem I face is, I don't wanna drive anywhere in the ice, to get any.

I purchased some OPI nail polish from work too, called "Happy Anniversary"

The diet is still on track!  Although, it is the  weekend (you have got to treat yourself, every now and then) Had some vino tonight and steak for my tea (which wasn't the best steak I had ever had....eeewww)  I did however avoid temptation, in the shape of a delicious cup cake and settled for just snapping it instead, cos it looked so pretty....

The cold snap continues......

My mum went to Greggs this afternoon and was shocked that there were no fresh cream cakes to be had, due to the bad weather!  All she wanted was an apple turn over! 

Lily, has been making herself comfy on my lush new cushions!  Cheeky little bint!

It's the weekend tomorrow and I can't wait to finish work at 4 O' clock. Yay!!

More snow.......and more......and more.

I have never seen as much of the white stuff.....EVER,   In all my 37 years.  I woke up in Narnia, this morning.  I would have loved to elope somewhere with Mr Tumnus (played by james McAvoy, only)  but I had to go to work instead!!!!!!!   BOO HISS!

No way was I driving.....so my dad offered me a lift.  What joy!  Radio 2 all the way to Bolton, in a traffic jam.  Got to work, it took about an hour. 

Came home at dinner time.......I don't think I will be very popular as I left everyone else there.  Apparently,  we had 4 customers all day.  Stupid bloody hairdressers!  Mad as a wasp, all 4 of em'.

Came home....had lunch, fell asleep, whilst watching Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince........AGAIN!!!!  Felt dead guilty, all day. If I get to work tomorrow, I'm fluffing staying there, even if I have to walk the 8 miles home!!!!!

New Year in Liverpool

Happy New Year!!!   I just got back from Liverpool last night after a couple of nights away. I stayed with one of my bezzie mates Elaine and we met up with Pete, John and Pete's dad and new family.  They are such a lovely bunch of people.  

We met up in The White Bar, at The Radisson and then got a taxi to Tai Pan.  The food was really excellent. I wasn't sure about the decor or the size of the place at first......it reminded me of being of a big cruise liner!  One the plus side, there were quite alot of chinese people eating in there and what they were eating looked very good......whole plate of sea bass on one table and  lobster on another. We had a banquet and there was soo much food, I nearly popped!  Time flew.....and I do not know where to!

For the chimes, we  had to race back to Pete and Johns new apartment and we all let the New Year in on the balcony, over-looking the Mersey. With a glass of  bubbly in hand, We watched all the fireworks from over the water and listened to the boats sounding their horns.  It was great. :-)

Had a bit of a teary moment when Elaine and Pete had a big cuddle to Abba's - The way Old Friends Do......Boy, I won't be able to listen to that again without a big lump in my throat!

We bobbed into Liverpool for a bite to eat and a little wander around yesterday, before I went home.  The Lamb Bananas have been replaced by Penguins!   Over a hundred of them are all over the city.  I love em!
